Guest speaker talks about the organization.

The Reach for Education Dinner began with a beautiful Quran recitation by Evelyn Ladadwah, one of four Palestinian students touring 14 cities to raise awareness and funds for Palestinian high school students.

The four students exhibit remarkable drive and commitment to education. The nonprofit organization has funded 294 students in the West Bank, Gaza, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon.

Dr. Walid Mizyed, creator of Reach for Education told the audience that he created this organization because he witnessed hardships faced by his Palestinian colleagues. He was tired of seeing exemplary academic talent wasted due to uncontrollable circumstances.

Students who receive scholarships from this organization have scored high, placing in the 90th percentile or above.

The Reach for Education Fund gives these gifted students an opportunity to create a better future for themselves and their community.

Education and knowledge are the post powerful tools Palestinians have today. Despite dire circumstances and hardship,

Palestinians are dedicated to improving themselves and their society. This organization is a wonderful tool to help create a new educated generation.
